Review: 28" Hannspree LCD monitor

Hey guys,

I picked up a 28" Hannspree monitor for work and to double as an HDTV set. I have a pioneer kuro plasma at home so impressing me with anything else is difficult. Overall I am pretty impressed by this monitor. At 1920x1280 it's full HD as a TV and pretty awesome as a monitor. It has (2) HDMI ports which I have one that shares duty with my MBP and Comcast Digital TV and the other is premanently attached to my PS3. It works awesome and the speakers are decent though I do wish they faced the front for TV purposes, otherwise they serve the purpose.

As far as color accuracy, I can't say. I'm an engineer and not a photo guy or a graphic designer, so I haven't tweaked the gamut to determine how far away or close it is to being accurate.

I paid $570 for it and I like it. I'd buy another if I needed another big display and I recommend it to the crew...
