WDS help please

Anyone used WDS with two Airport Extremes? I don't need the extra coverage of another base station...I just need to have a LAN port in another part of my house without running a cable. So, I want to connect the base stations over WDS and then just use the LAN port on the remote one. Is this even possible or am I wasting my time?

What is WDS? Is that the same thing as using it as a repeater?

Linking two airports together wirelessly. Basically, I just need somewhere to plug in my Xbox so I don't have to buy the wireless adapter. I wasn't sure that if the airports are talking wirelessly that the wired port on the remote airport would actually work.

Hmm...ended up resetting the remote Airport and let it re-setup WDS and it worked

So, in case anyone is wondering...you CAN use the local LAN port on a remote base station using WDS
