Hard drive replacement

Anybody replace a hard drive in a Mac Book Pro yet? I wouldn't mind an extra 20GB or so, but I'm more interested in a 7200rpm drive. I know it'll eat batteries faster, but I think it'll be a decent performance upgrade.

How hard is it to get to the drive? Does it void warranty?

Re: Hard drive replacement

Oh the MBP, I believe it does, which is crazy considering the MB HDD is so easy to get to.

Check out the how to section at otherworldcomputing... They have tutorials on how to do just about everything...

Re: Hard drive replacement

Keep the old one and swap it back in if you have an issue. Check the how to and then get the developer's note for your machine
