4gb in the MB
After looking at the mac store ($200) I went to Frys and got 4gb of 667 PC2-5300. I doubled the RAM in the system. I then allocated 2gb to my parallels vista machine. BIG difference. Very happy with the performance now and the install was easy as pie.

Re: 4gb in the MB
I get my memory from Crucial.com usually. Quality stuff at a bargain. Free shipping usually, too! I've been a fan of memory upgrades for a long time. For me anything under 2GB is just unacceptable anymore with any OS. Unfortunately my laptop maxes out at 2GB but it's still pretty happy.
