New MacBook Pros for 2009

So I've been reading up a bit on the new laptops that were released last week. My original Intel 15" is getting a bit long in the tooth. It still does everything I ask it to do but it is a bit sluggish at times and the 2GB memory limit is bothersome.

I was a bit disappointed to see the hard wired battery but after reading this article this morning, I'm not so sure I have reason to be.

Nearly 8 hours out of just casual web browsing and listening to music??

It's getting harder and harder to resist upgrading...

I really would like a new 15" but the job question needs to settle a bit first

Interesting that you can boot from the SD card on the new Macbook Pros. Seems like a cool feature for emergency repair
