Special Apple event on September 9th!
According to rumors it's another iPod update event but who knows. I'm hoping for an update to iMacs or a beefier Mini.

I've thought about the Apple TV but I can't see it having any real benefit until they add DVR functionality to it.
Here's some more speculation about Tuesday: Apple event predictions: New Nano, Touch, price drops? : Ben Patterson : Yahoo! Tech Quite frankly I'm getting sick and tired of new iPods. They all do the exact same thing, which is play movies and music.

So it is looking like new iPods.... no big deal just a lot of hype. Or maybe a touch computer which I have about as much use for as one I talk to.
