8GB or 16GB?

Might be time to get one (cell phones still suck). I am wondering though 8 or 16? Who has one and which? I am afraid of running out of memory (why didn't they build them to accept CF or similar )

If you don't plan on using it as an iPod then go with the 8GB. I have a 4GB and it's plenty.

Re: 8GB or 16GB?

Got the 8GB last night my 160GB iPod is enough iPod to last me a long time. I have not had a ton of time to play with it since I went late (after races ). I would like to get on it and thumb through the missing manual but this will be a busy week. Need to load for Barber and work late one day so I can escape early Friday. Also pulling shrubs out with the truck

Need to set up a development area now and test loading an app of my own.

Well, I am chomping at the bit for an iphone. I am able to upgrade right now. What I heard is a rumor that a 32g version will be introduced by christmas time. Who knows if it is true. I just hope my current phone can last til then. It keeps shutting down without reason.

There's an announcement coming on Tuesday the 14th of this month. It might hit the shelves then...

Re: 8GB or 16GB?

Well, last night my cell phone lost it's GUI. I have a grey screen of death. The phone works if you can rememeber the the screen layout when dialing. I have no idea who is calling when it rings. There is no display.

Guess it is time to bite the bullet and get a iphone. I was hoping to wait till end of year to see if a 32g version comes out.

Re: 8GB or 16GB?

I got an 8gb and it is not full or even close. Now I am not the kind with every single sheep on the planet in my contacts but I do have track video and lots of pictures on mine. Further I have added some apps. The one thing that I have not figured out is how to make a pdf library which would add some. So 16gb may be a lot more than you think.
